The day involves a 3 hour foraging trip in some of Co.Clare’s wild landscapes: seashore, hedgerow, woodland u0026amp; farmland to forage for seasonal wild edible herbs, vegetables, seaweeds, roots, seeds u0026amp; berries. You will learn how to forage safely and legally.

We will learn some plant identification tips, indicate poisonous lookalikes as they arise and I will give you lots of recipe ideas. Oonagh will share some tips for incorporating these ingredients into your cooking. After the foraging trip we will enjoy a wild food picnic,in the Arzon Park, Lahinch, watching the surfers overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
