I am guiding a Seaweed Walk on Barrtra Beach, this Sat. at 2pm. The tide will be low and the moon is two days past the new moon. Good for harvesting Seaweed. We are meeting at 2pm. You can park your car at Barrtra Seafood Restaurant, and walk down to the shore, as parking is limited there. Please bring wellies, bucket/bags for harvest, and a rain coat.
We will identify the Kelps/Alaria/Sea Spaghetti/Pepper dulse and a few more. I will have a few samples to try and a few nice bites to taste….Cost €10. Under 8’s are free.
Lovely couple of hours promised….Oonagh.
Ring to book at 0876877890
