The Burren Tourism Story

Tourism providers and members of the local community attended an information and network event last evening (Wednesday, 5 March) showcasing the activities, adventures, food and heritage of the Burren Region.
The Burren Ecotourism Network, in collaboration with the Burren & Cliffs of Moher Geopark, hosted The Burren Tourism Story 2014 at the Pavilion, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare.
The event featured information stands, food tastings, the launch of the Burren’s first Adventure & Activities Trail, and guest presentations from Prof. Finbarr Bradley (author and green business lecturer), Fiona Monaghan (Head of Programmes & Delivery, Fáilte Ireland); and Pól O’Conghaile(award-winning travel writer and journalist).
