As it happens, my big sister Sally is 364 days older than I am. So oft. times we celebrate together, enjoying the fact that we are the same age for a day. This year we celebrated in style and in keeping with previous themed dinner parties we chose to cook and celebrate with Middle Eastern Food, being one of my favourites. So I invited a motley crew, and Paul the genius D.J, that he is, was installed for the evening, using the butchers block table as his work station. And he did not disappoint. We boogied around to all sorts, and boy was it fun, thanks Paul. The food was glorious, a Tagine with bananas in it! Slow cooked beef with yogurt. Lentils, chickpeas cooked three ways, and lots, lots more. Some of my dearest friends were there, including Cosima, (seen here in the photo), whom I have known for years and who was dancing around till midnight. It was a great way to kick off the Year, have brilliant fun and make plans for the next one.
