Red fruits and lush black cherries give exquisite structure and freshness; hints of chocolate and cocoa add intrigue and complexity.
Fifty year old vines provide the ripe Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) grapes for this beautifully rich and deeply intense wine.
I did not write this, but I did savor the contents of the bottle the label is from, over a night or two. I can go with hints of chocolate, lush, and intrigue as it’s one of the nicest Spanish wines I’ve quaffed recently. A wine buff friend agreed with me. Having an evening to my-self, I made a salad of freshly picked Cos and Lollo lettuce, Radish, Red Onion, Parsley, Tomato and Cucumber, sprinkled with home-made white bread croutons, toasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, and sugar kelp seaweed flakes mmmmm….because I’m worth it and the sun was shining today making amends for the delay of our Spring, allowing me to dine on the decking, facing west.
